Stay on a Scottish Farm.

This is a great opportunity for you to have a real farm stay experience, as this holiday accommodation is situated on land that belongs to our small family run farm. We can arrange a farm visit for you to see how things are done on a Scottish farm. Some times of the year are certainly busier than others, from calving and tractor field work in the spring, to the animals going out to the fields in May, to gathering in the harvest in the summer, to preparation of the farm for the winter months, in the autumn, and finally the animals all come inside again for the winter in late October. There is never a dull moment !!

There are many kinds of wildlife living in the surrounding area. Owls, buzzards, heron, deer, foxes and hedgehogs, to name a few, and with a little luck, you may just catch a glimpse of one of them during your stay with us ! There are cows, calves, horses, dogs and cats on the farm, just waiting to say 'hello'!
You may even see a baby calf born during your stay if you are here March, April time !!

Please have a look at our Visitors book  as it contains many comments left by our guests over the years. We just love meeting people from all over the world and learning about all of your different countries and cultures !

What to do during your self-catering holiday.

Our activities  page will give you suggestions on what's available within a short drive from your holiday home, and our events page will let you know what's on that you may find of interest during your stay.

There is an enormous amount of literature within your holiday lodge for you to decide what you want to do when you get here, so don't panic if you can't make up your mind just now !
